Overview: Derek confronts Victor and Victor confesses his love for Mavis. Victor promises never to see Mavis again and gets drunk with Derek on home-made wine. Derek arrives home with the news that he now runs PPP as Victor has left the area to Darlington. Marie discovers Tina doesn't have a baby, but Bet lets Marie see Jamie. Marie pleads with Eddie to let her have Jamie and also threatens him with a solicitor. Eddie proposes to Tina in order to provide a good home for Jamie and Tina accepts. The Health and Safety inspector arrive to check Mike's factory and is told that he will have to close the factory. Ken asks Deirdre if he can see Tracy.
